          Gong coffee is a small local community business which began two years ago with a successful experiment in hand-roasting coffee. Kraburi lies on the some latitude or coffee-growing regions of Columbia, Kenya and Brazil. Upon noticing how much instant coffee was consumed daily by Kraburi locals, Gong decided to roast some of the locally grows beans in a wok. By a stroke of luck, he happened to roast the perfect wok on his first attempt. A month later, Gong's Italian Barrista friend, Marino, samples the coffee and was highly impressed by the quality of this pure Robusta. Gong then introduced his coffee to the local community by carring a few old-style Moka pots and some coffee around with him. Gong hoped to change the mindset of the instant coffee drinker and to encourage them to feel a sense of pride in a wonderful local product. Since the beginning the coffee has been grown locally, hand-picked, hand-roasted and hand-ground. Today people from all over the world enjoy Gong Coffee and appreciate its humble origins.
